Printed or embroidered: choose your little detail.

Otter offers small printed designs and selected embroidered designs. The finish is listed on each product page; the same design is not necessarily offered in both finishes.

What is a printed design?

Our DTG products use direct-to-garment printing: the artwork is printed onto the fabric. This is the finish used for most designs in the collection, including our Golden Retriever and cat tees.

What is embroidery?

Embroidery uses thread stitched into the garment. You can find it on selected products, including the Golden Retriever Winston Edition adult hat and Chili tee.

Can I change the finish?

Choose from the finishes shown for the specific garment. Selecting a printed product does not change it into embroidery, even if a similar design is available on an embroidered hat.

How should I care for it?

Follow the care label on the garment you receive. Requirements can differ by fabric and decoration; contact hello@ottertrends.com with the product name if you need help before ordering.
